Naija As It Ought To Be


On a cool afternoon, Sitting on the couch meditating some words, while the low tuned Television  was whistling in a low tone symphony , a weak voice oozed out of the screen soliloquising some vocabularies the captured my attention that ginger me to scale up the volume, listen carefully  the sentences seems impossible to be in reality.
            “Believe our super eagles will win the world cup, say
            Corruption will be a thing of the past in naija
            Economic hardship will be lessen in Nigeria
            Naija will record 0% unemployment
            There will be security of life in Nigeria without any help of any security agency
            Limousine will become a taxi in naija
            $1 will equal to N1
            Nigerian army will produce their atomic weapons
            Positive things about our country”
I busted into laughter at first, because in real life it is not possible having the knowledge of some basic facts about poverty in the continent, trying to be optimistic is cool and nice,
 note i believe in Nigeria but can these things be in our generation cause these should be the actual situation. But we can start something towards the changing the trend
 From the first verse of the song he accolades the men national team to win the world cup but in reality the system is balloted by some bigotic politicians leaving us with some professionals that do the best for their club but deliver less the nation team it is only in Nigerian football league it is rear for a visiting team to win a match having in mind it is not always save as some angry fans may lay ambush for them .

It’s only in Nigeria a player will get injury on the field, and iced water would be the only medicine given coupled with some massaging aided by some common balm.........

some of the athletes who will be representing Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are crying over their condition since arriving in Scotland over the weekend.
